The Northwest Discovery Water Trail

The Northwest Discovery Water Trail map is divided into nine reaches. To explore the recreational opportunities on each segment of the trail, roll your cursor over the map and select a reach.

On each reach map, you will see icons depicting public access points along the water trail. The sites are categorized as marinas, boat ramps, or hand-carried launch/landing sites. Facilities at each site vary, click on the icons to get more details.

A goal of the Northwest Discovery Water Trail is to provide camping opportunities every 10 miles along the rivers, and access and restroom facilities every 5 miles along the rivers. However, certain stretches of the water trail are, by nature, remote and inaccessible for facility improvements.
